Here at Sophie & Co. we keep good company – clients with impeccable taste, retailers with a creative eye, suppliers with a real feel for materials, and an English bulldog with a nose for business – or at least a name worthy of one!

Sophie & Co.’s story is the classic tale of two financial whizzes, Christine & Eunice, who found friendship and fulfillment through their creative diversions. When they weren’t crunching numbers, they could be found stitching, snapping photos, or stringing jewelry. Several art classes later, the two gals put their heads and hands together to create one-of-a-kind bags and bracelets for friends … and then friends-of-friends … and soon enough, their wares were swept up at local boutiques quicker than their part-time production team could replace them (even with the help of a certain crafty canine).

So in 2002 – with Sophie’s permission, of course – Christine and Eunice launched Sophie & Co. to expand their collection of custom fashion and accessories for a growing clientele. Since then, their Connecticut-based cottage industry has kept the two gals busy perfecting their signature pieces and experimenting with new designs for your accessorizing pleasure.

All of us here at Sophie & Co believe that life’s too short to wear what everyone else is wearing. After all, it’s much more chic to be unique!
